Dear XanGo Distributors:
We appreciate your tremendous dedication and efforts to make XanGo the #1 direct sales company in the world. Your efforts are creating growth that is breaking records in our industry.
One of our most important current priorities is to manage our company’s growth in a way that will propel each of you to greater success, while protecting the value of the XanGo brand. To this end, we are clarifying our position on the use of the XanGo name in website domain names and email addresses. To protect the value of our brand, we have refined our policy to state that: “An Independent Distributor may not use the name of “XanGo” in an e-mail address or website domain name.” (46-a)
In addition, we reiterate our policy that the name “XanGo” cannot be used in corporations or business entities.
By reserving the XanGo name for company-owned web sites, company-generated e-mail addresses and corporate businesses, we preserve the strength of our unique brand. This benefits everyone associated with our company.
We, therefore, request that all distributors take the action necessary to comply with the above-stated policy. This can be accomplished by making sure the “XanGo” name is not present in any of your e-mail addresses, website domain names or business entities.
We understand that this process takes time, so we are providing a period of time until January 1, 2005, in which to make all the necessary changes to comply with the above policy. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with this request. Your support in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for all you do. We send our greetings and best wishes for your continued success. Sincerely,
Bryan Davis Executive VP & General Counsel XanGo, LLC
